Isaiah 19:1a 1a The burden against Egypt…
I wouldn’t want Mike Tyson mad at me. I wouldn’t want Shaq out to dunk headfirst in a basketball goal. I don’t really want the FBI or CIA getting after me. There are people in life I don’t want to be mad at me. By the way, I don’t want GOD mad at me.
God had a problem with Egypt. They were in HIS cross hairs. Egypt had become a source of trust for Israel instead of the LORD. Their lack of trust in God would lead to Israel’s utter failure.
God has a problem when HIS people don’t trust HIM. He knows what best for HIS own. We can trust in our strength…but we will fail. WE can trust in someone else’s wisdom but it will fail. God wants us to trust HIM. It’s really that simple…TRUST HIM!!!
Father, I trust YOU with all of my life…I can’t eve breath without YOU…I need YOUR help everyday…In Jesus Name…AMEN!
