THE WORD FOR TODAY
Psalm 37-39 (Click to read Today’s Word)
Psalm 37:3 3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.
I declare today...Do Good Day! You we have all of these special days…Mother’s Day…Father’s Day…Memorial Day…Veteran’s Day…Hump Day (middle day of the week)…and many more. We need…the world needs another day so I declare today…DO GOOD DAY.
The Psalmist tells us, ” Trust in the LORD, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness.”
Let me give you some ideas for observing DO GOOD DAY!
Your elderly neighbor’s yard may be overgrown. Why not mow her yard, trim her hedges, and trim all around the yard.
You may know someone who can’t get to the grocery store. Why not offer them a ride and then after the shopping’s over have lunch with them at their favorite restaurant.
Men your wife may have that project she has wanted you to do for months…hmmmm…sounds like an idea.
On this DO GOOD Day intentionally find someone you can help in the name of Jesus and because you trust God. Doing good for others shines the light of the hope of God’s great love.
Lord, show me someway I can do good for today and help me show forth Your love in a powerful way…In Jesus Name…AMEN!!!
