Word of the DayTHE WORD FOR TODAY
Isaiah 25-27 ISAIAH 25-27 - Passage Lookup - New King James Version - BibleGateway.com (Click to read Today’s Word) Isaiah 25:1 1 O LORD, You are my God. I will exalt You, I will praise Your name, For You have done wonderful things; Your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth. When the Captain of a Navy Ship comes aboard the ship they ring the ship’s bell and the boatswain call over 1MC (Loud speaker), Juneau arriving. It is an honor to the ship and an honor to the Captain who has earned privilege of commanding a Navy vessel. Today we have the privilege to honor God. We can say with Isaiah, “O LORD, You are my God. I will exalt You, I will praise Your name…” He is our LORD. We should exalt HIM. We must praise HIS name. We must honor HIM with praise because HE is our God. He is ONE who created us and gives us life. In HIM we have our breath. We can’t even move without HIM. We must honor HIM with praise because HE is our HOPE. In all of the uncertainty of life we need HOPE. It won’t come from politicians. Hope will not come from the government. Hope will not come from empty promises. HOPE in its purest form comes from God. We are blessed when we put our HOPE in HIM. We must honor HIM with praise because HE is our FUTURE. There is grave concern about our future in America. The fear for tomorrow is almost paralyzing. But for a Believer who has the LORD as their GOD our future rests in HIM. Everyday of life on this earth is temporary. Our real hope…our fantastic future rests in the LORD. O LORD YOU ARE MY GOD… O Lord, You are my God…I praise and I want to serve YOU…In Jesus Name…AMEN!!! Blessings Brother William Comments are closed.
