Word of the DayTHE WORD FOR TODAY
Revelation 16-18 (Click to Read Today’s Word at Biblegateway.com) Truth for Today Revelation 16:7 7 And I heard another from the altar saying, “Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are Your judgments.” I must not question the judgments of God. Before reading this passage I have questioned the judgment of God. I have wondered why HE allows certain things to happen. I have even told people that it is OK to question God’s judgment. Now…not so much. One of the powerful experiences from John was when an angel said, “Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are Your judgments.” I can’t question God’s judgment because I am LIMITED in my wisdom. Half of the time I don’t know what I am talking about and the other half I regret what I said. I say this in jest but I am really serious because no preacher…no teacher…no Masters Degree…no PHD…NO ONE knows the mind and the heart of God. I can’t question God’s judgment because I am LIMITED in my ability. I am not creator. I am not the giver of life. I am not the taker of life. I am not the ONE who called everything into being. I didn’t fashion my children from the dust of the earth. I can’t question God’s judgments because I am LIMITED in my vision. There are things I can never see. I don’t know why a child dies. I can’t see the reason for a tornado destroying a town. I do not know why we have had to fight a war for more than 10 years now. I don’t see these things…but God does. I can’t question God’s judgments because they are TRUE and RIGHTEOUS. I must not question the judgments of God. Father, I trust YOU and Your perfect judgments which are true and righteous…thank YOU for always doing right by us…In Jesus Name…AMEN!!! Blessings Bro. William Comments are closed.
