Psalm 116:1   1 I love the LORD, because He has heard My voice and my supplications.
 
I LOVE GOD…
 
I love God.  I am in complete agreement with the Psalmist, “I love the LORD..”  He adds, “Because He has heard My voice and my supplications.”
 
I love God…BECAUSE HE IS GOD.  I don’t know anyone more powerful than God.  I don’t know anyone that could do what HE can do…this very moment.
 
I love God…BECAUSE HE DESERVES TO BE LOVED.  God deserves my absolute love and devotion to HIM.  
 
I love God…BECAUSE HE COMMANDS ME TO LOVE HIM.  The command of Jesus, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart…all your soul…all your mind.”  Loving God isn’t a choice.
 
I love God…BECAUSE HE LOVED ME.  John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth on Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”  Now…instead of world put your name there, “For God so loved…William…”  NOBODY has ever loved me as much as God does!!!
 
Father, there is no one like YOU…You are majestic and holy and wonderful and in YOUR great mercies You deal with us…I love YOU and I want my life to show my LOVE for YOU…In Jesus Name…AMEN!!!
