Psalm 126:5 5 Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy.
I know you have heard it said, “Men don’t cry.” Yet I have seen many…many…many men cry. I have cried and will probably cry again. Crying is important in our life. It helps us to heal. It is part of our life.
“Those who sow in TEARS will reap with songs of joy.” Psalm 126:5
Our Tears Tell the story of our grief and hardship. Our tears are part of our journey toward healing, wholeness and joy. You might say, “Without tears you can have no joy.”
Our tEars Express the depth of our pain. If someone comes to me and begins to tell their story and tears begin to flow then I know we are reaching a depth of pain that is real. Tears in the depth of pain should never be ignored.
Our teArs Ask for help. Someone said to me, “Tears are a language God understands.” He always moves to the aid of His crying people as they “ASK” for help in the midst of tears.
Our teaRs Remind us that we are fragile. The winds of adversity in life can blow away the strongest of us.
Our tearS Send God a message of hope. Through our tears we HOPE that God will see, hear, and act on our behalf. And HE does!!! This is HOPE to which we can always cling. This HOPE will never disappoint.
Father, as we sow in tears bring us the JOY of Your power and presence in our life…we need You…In Jesus Name…AMEN!!!
