What is the Rapture?
The Rapture is the imminent event for the Church, those who believe on Jesus Christ as the Savior for their sin, when we meet Him in the air, and the church will forever be with God.
When the church is gone, God's judgment will begin known as the Tribulation (7 years) when a 7 year peace treaty with Israel is signed. The Great Tribulation will culminate in the second coming of Jesus Christ to earth.
(I Thessalonians 4:13-18; Book of Revelation)

How is one ready for the Rapture?
One can be ready and escape the Tribulation by accepting Jesus as God's only Son.
Why does one need to accept Jesus? Because apart from Him, we are destine for wrath and judgment for our unholy acts and defiance against our Creator, and God is just in His judgment.
Why did He die for us? - Because we were born under the curse of sin, meaning we were born sinners - people violating God's Holy Law. (A good reference is the 10 Commandments - can you say you kept all of them every day of your life?) Romans 3:23 says All have sinned - none of us is sinless and perfect enough to meet God's standard for heaven. SO, knowing we could NOT save ourselves, Jesus gave up the glories of heaven, put on humanity and allowed Himself to be put to death to die in our stead. God's justice put the punishment on Himself, so we could have grace, forgiveness and pardon.
Why did He have to die? All sins against God are deserving of Capital Punishment - death. That is how Holy He is. Roman 6:23....says the earnings of our sins is death. Eternal death is separation from God in Hell. Jesus died a substitutionary death so we would not have to die eternally.
Jesus Rose Again... Death could not hold Him. Jesus rose again because He is the holy, spotless Son of God. He justified all who would believe in Him before God the Father by shedding His blood for ours. According to I Corinthians 15:5-6 the Resurrected Jesus was seen by His apostles but also by over 500 people at one time.
To accept Jesus - Just pray telling God how you believe in His Son, what He did for you, and that you confess you are a sinner needing the pardon and forgiveness provided by Jesus's death and resurrection. Ask Jesus to come into your life. (Romans 10:9-13)

Where does the Bible talk about the Rapture?
I Thessalonians 4:17 speaks of "being caught up together" where we, the believers in Jesus, will meet Him in the air and be with Him forevermore. In the Greek this word is Harpazo meaning snatched away. In Latin, this word is translated to Rapiemur where we get Rapture in English.
Why would the church be snatched out - I Thess. 5:9-10 KJV - For God hath not appointed us (the believing church) for wrath.
A foreshadowing of such an event can be seen in the Old Testament with the account of Enoch* and Elijah** both did not die but were with God.
*(Gen. 5:24 KJV "And Enoch walked with God: and he was not: for God took him.")
**(II Kings 2:11kjv "And it came to pass as they still went on and talked (Elijah and Elisha) that, behold there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up in a whirlwind into heaven.")

To Whom This Finds,
One day a catastrophe will happen on this earth. One day millions will go missing.
To some it will cause panic. To some pleasure. Lies will be told and stories will circulate about where the masses went who vanished. Perhaps a solar event, perhaps some new-aged idea, perhaps some may actually consider what they have heard over the years – perhaps just maybe people will realize it was the Rapture – harpazo – the snatching out of the Church of Christ Jesus.
Anyone who believes on Jesus as being the Son of God who takes away the sins of the world, and has sought the Lord on this and asked forgiveness for their sins (lies, greed, selfish acts and conducts, lusts, etc.) and asked relying on Jesus to be Lord and Savior of their life will be the ones who are gone.
Those who merely played the game of warming a pew or thought they were good enough on their own merit, or who thought having been sprinkled or dunked at some point was enough to get them in will be rudely awakened. Jesus said in John 14:6 That He was the Way, the Truth and the Life and no one would make it before the Father except through Him. Meaning, you must accept Christ, and acceptance is evident by a change in outlook, a love for God and His Word, for there is no other way to escape hell and the coming hell on earth known as the Great Tribulation.
So if you are reading this, perhaps this event has happened. The church is missing. The world will get harsh and brutal over the next seven years. I implore you to seek Jesus as your Savior even now. Although you missed the rapture, you don’t have to miss out on eternity without Him – eternity where He will wipe away every tear and make all things new. The alternative will be worse than what the world will become. Eternity apart from Christ Jesus will be the Lake of Fire – imagine being thrown into the sun and being there without escape forever. Horrible, don’t allow yourself to go there.
The world around you will move to a one-world system of government. Israel will build a much-anticipated Temple again. But beware at the half way point of the seven years; the world leader at the helm will expect the world to worship him. Those who don’t and don’t take his mark (whether tattoo, chip or branding) will forfeit their life. That is if one survives the supernatural disasters, pestilences, warfare and famines.
Just remember the words of Jesus who said those who save their life will lose it, and those who lose their life will save it – think eternally not temporarily. Is this world that great a place with the wickedness and strife that is constant? Is this world the Eden you think it is, or is it exploding and mutinying against itself with storms, volcanoes, earthquakes and tsunamis? Think and pay attention, your soul’s welfare is at stake.
The reason I write is because I do not want you to be lost for all eternity. Jesus loves you still and His death will pardon every evil you have thought or done. Just ask Him to and serve Him. If you decide not to serve Him, you are not impartial. Jesus said that there are two options: if you are not for Him you are against Him, and to be against Him is to be in the devil’s camp. Don’t be in the devil’s camp. The consequences are far worse than you could imagine.
I hope to meet you in glory.
